We are a beautiful, rural primary school in North Shropshire, surrounded by countryside and known for our welcoming community and inclusive ethos. We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team in September.
The Role:
- Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11)
- Work with individuals and small groups to boost confidence and progress
- Assist the class teacher with planning, preparation and classroom management
- Encourage independence, curiosity and a love of learning in every child
- Experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils or in a similar education setting
- Strong communication skills and a calm, positive approach
- Ability to build supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Flexibility, initiative, and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of school life
