We are a beautiful, welcoming rural school nestled in the heart of North Shropshire, dedicated to providing a happy and enriching start to children's education. We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team from September.
The Role:
- Support class teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences to children aged 5-7
- Assist with classroom management, group activities, and individual support
- Help foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Encourage and support children's social, emotional, and academic development
- Experience working with Key Stage 1 children or in a similar role
- A genuine love of working with young children and supporting their growth
- Patience, kindness, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
- Willingness to get involved in the wider life of our school community
