
OMB Assistant Tax Manager (Restructuring)

- Advising our clients in areas such as corporate reconstructions, transactions, incorporations and shareholder exit planning, such as management buyouts and company purchase of own shares.
- Work will include preparing initial advice reports, reports on structure planning, HMRC clearance letters and reviewing legal documentation from a tax perspective.
- Working with managers and Directors in the owner managed business advisory team to deliver tax advisory work
- Liaising with clients including telephone calls, teams meetings and face to face meetings.
- Researching and preparing proposals and scopes for new work
- Stay updated on tax legislation and policies
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience of tax advisory in the areas above
- In-depth knowledge of UK tax legislation and HMRC compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders
- Proactive, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
