The ideal candidate will have a strong background in capital project manufacturing or extensive experience in large-scale projects. This role requires exceptional leadership, coordination, and interface management skills to ensure the successful completion of the project.Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Responsible for the overall construction of a $3 billion+ project. Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SOPC) for all construction-related issues.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate the consultants' site team, including Construction Project Managers, Schedule Managers, Risk Managers, and Cost Managers. Oversee multiple General Contractors (GC) and Construction Managers (CM) working concurrently.
- Interface Management: Ensure strong interface management between all stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Project Delivery: Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Manage project risks and issues effectively, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols. Promote a culture of safety and quality throughout the project.
- Education Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: + 20 years of proven experience, preferably in capital project manufacturing or large-scale construction projects.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or equivalent are preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in capital project manufacturing. Familiarity with large-scale construction projects. Proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Ability to be on-site (London area) 4 days a week.
