HLTA - Mainstream Secondary School - LambethAre you a passionate and experienced HLTA looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? A vibrant and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team, with a strong focus on supporting students with autism.Located in the heart of Lambeth, our school prides itself on fostering a culture of respect, resilience, and high achievement for all. We are committed to inclusive education and are looking for an HLTA who can support students with autism, helping them thrive academically and socially within the mainstream setting.About the Role:
  • Full-time HLTA position
  • Plan and deliver small group and one-to-one interventions
  • Help adapt classroom activities to suit individual needs
  • Support EHCP implementation and contribute to review meetings
The Ideal HLTA Will Have:
  • HLTA status or equivalent experience
  • A strong understanding of autism and experience supporting students with ASC
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
  • A commitment to inclusion and equality of opportunity
