This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to deliver engaging and thought-provoking art lessons that encourage creativity, skill development, and self-expression.Key Responsibilities of the Art Teacher:
  • Teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is desirable).
  • Plan and deliver creative, inclusive, and engaging lessons.
  • Encourage students to explore various artistic mediums and techniques.
  • Prepare pupils for GCSE (and A-Level if applicable) assessments.
  • Contribute to the wider creative life of the school through exhibitions and events.
Requirements for the Art Teacher role:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Excellent behaviour management and classroom organisation skills.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
