The Finance Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Accounting & Finance department by analysing financial data and generating insightful reports. This temporary role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the business services industry.Validate end to end financial data between internal and external providers, ensuring data accuracyImplement and monitor data quality metrics, producing dashboards and tracking performanceIdentify escalate and track data anomalies or defects, facilitate root cause analysis and drive solutions across the teamsDesign and maintain financial controls - reconciliation tools, validation tests and process check aligned to contracts and financial compliance requirements.Support the development and implementation of a financial data assurance frameworkPartner with internal and external stakeholders to define assurance policies and embed a culture of "assurance by design"Hybrid working position initially for 6 monthsWorking in a friendly, supportive team.A successful Finance Data Analyst should have:
  • A strong background in financial data analysis or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using accounting and data analysis software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly.
  • Experience working within the Accounting & Finance sector.
