
SHEQ Manager

- Advise management on all SHEQ matters and drive a safety-first culture
- Provide SHEQ induction and ongoing training, ensuring compliance and record maintenance
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections, enforcing preventive measures
- Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Manage site safety for 3rd parties, including inductions, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
- Implement environmental policies to meet ISO 14001 and sustainability goals
- Monitor waste management, emissions, and energy efficiency initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and drive continuous quality improvements
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits
- Provide SHEQ performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior management
- Promote SHEQ engagement across all levels and lead continuous improvement projects
- 3+ years' experience within a similar Health & Safety role
- Relevant Health and Safety qualifications
- Experience with ISO standards and auditing (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
- Good communication skills
- IT and numeracy skills (MS Office)
- Experience within the Manufacturing or Construction industries
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing
- IOSH Membership
- NEBOSH Diploma
- Environmental certification
