📍 North Yorkshire | 💷 £35 per hour | 🧠 LD, Autism & Court of Protection FocusWe're looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join a forward-thinking Adult Services team in North Yorkshire. You'll work with adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs-focusing on Care Act assessments, reviews, safeguarding, and Court of Protection work. This isn't a hospital discharge role - it's community-based, high-impact, and centred on delivering personalised, dignified care.🔍 The Role
You will:
✅ Manage complex cases involving LD, autism, and multiple needs
✅ Complete Care Act assessments & safeguarding enquiries
✅ Prepare court documents and Ministry of Justice reports
✅ Undertake Mental Capacity Act assessments and best interest decisions
✅ Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
✅ Uphold best practice, promoting independence and wellbeing👤 What You'll Bring
- Social Work England registration
- 4+ years' experience in Adult Social Care
- Expertise in the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding frameworks
- Court of Protection experience (essential)
- Strong interpersonal, assessment, and report-writing skills
- Confidence managing a varied and complex caseload
- Experience mentoring junior staff/students
- Background in reablement or multi-agency settings
