- Working with the business to provide effective and timely HR advice and support on all people related matters, ensuring guidance is in line with employment law and best practice.
- Supporting the embedding, practice and recognition award of company behaviours
- Responding to HR queries and managing all aspects of HR issues across the employee lifecycle.
- Coaching and building capability in line managers to manage the employment relationship effectively and guiding managers on company policies and procedures.
- Proactively maintain up to date knowledge of current and new employment legislation
- Support the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures
- Guiding and supporting managers with end-to-end case management for all employee relation cases ensuring appropriate application of employment law consideration and approach and timely closure of such cases.
- Coordinating and participating in monthly case reviews with the HR Team to identify key themes for improvement and identification of issues and trends within the business.
- Supporting change initiatives, including acquisitions, restructures, redundancies, TUPE, redeployment and office closures
- Working with the respective HR Business Partner to provide commercially focused advice and support to Managers on all Employee Relations issues.
- Working closely with the HR Shared Service team to ensure the business receives an efficient and high-quality service
- HR degree educated (or related field qualification equivalent), or equivalent experience. CIPD status (Associate member minimum
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Strong experience as a HR Advisor with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, tailored HR Support. Must have significant practical experience of managing complex employee relations and demonstrable experience of handling employment law related matters of medium to high complexity.
- Demonstrable success working within HR in different organisations/sectors under a fast-paced environment
- Must have an up to date understanding of employment law and HR Best Practice.
- Demonstrable experience in delivery of strategic projects and initiatives with experience of delivering change in complex and demanding environments
