About usThis role is based within our Family Help and Protection social work service. They will be based within our newly formed Duty and Assessment Teams.The roleIt's an exciting time to be joining Children Social Care in Warrington, as we have been chosen as a Pathfinder authority for the Families First for Children reforms.The family network worker role will work with families at Child in Need and child Protection thresholds, offering direct intervention and support, leading on multi agency meetings and coordinating plans for families.As part of your day to day role you would be expected visit children and families and complete direct work with children.What's needed?We are looking for practitioner from backgrounds such as Youth Work, education, youth offending, residential support work and Early Help, who have experience in working with children and families who are in need of support.The candidates should have a knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and multi agency working.BenefitsAs well as a competitive salary, working for us means you get:
