– Support children in need (CIN), and manage child protection (CP) cases.
– Oversee pre-proceedings and guide family protection issues through court proceedings to final hearing.
– Engage and build relationships with children, families, and partners to assess needs and deliver appropriate interventions.
– Develop care plans that respond to the needs of families and ensure the safeguarding of children.
– Maintain up-to-date and accurate case records.Requirements of the Social Worker:
– Hold a degree or equivalent in social work.
– Current registration with Social Work England.
