- Manage, mentor and develop a high-performing desktop support team, setting clear expectations and fostering a proactive, customer-focused culture.
- Oversee the delivery of excellent hands-on IT support for office staff and factory-floor users, including PC, printer, and workstation issues, as well as IT elements supporting production machinery.
- Ensure IT support coverage is maintained across all business-critical areas, including offices, factory production lines, and shared spaces.
- Act as the escalation point for complex or high-impact issues; ensure incidents are resolved promptly and documented accurately
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders in office and manufacturing teams to understand support requirements and align IT services with business needs.
- Track and report on support performance, SLAs, and KPIs. Lead continuous improvement initiatives across support processes.
- Establish and maintain robust documentation, team playbooks, and IT support procedures to promote consistency and knowledge sharing.
- Identify skill gaps and implement training plans to ensure the team keeps pace with technical and operational developments.

- Proven experience managing IT desktop support teams in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
- Strong understanding of the challenges and support needs in manufacturing and office settings.
- Excellent technical troubleshooting abilities across hardware and software.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Able to operate effectively under pressure, with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.
