
IT Desktop Engineer

- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for Windows, MacOS, Android, and iOS devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and network issues.
- Support MDM platforms: Intune, Jamf, and SOTI.
- Manage incidents and service requests via ITSM, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
- Implement new technologies, updates, and maintain asset records and documentation.
- Ensure endpoint compliance with security and patching policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, escalate issues, and travel to remote sites (driving license required).
- Act as an escalation point for the service desk and liaise with suppliers, managing POs.
- Support IT projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and train junior staff.
- Handle admin tasks like fleet compliance and invoice reviews, and promote internal events.

- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, Windows 10/11, MacOS, iOS, and Android.
- Skilled in networking, printing, and endpoint support.
- Experience with MDM tools (Intune, Jamf, SOTI), PDQ Deploy, IFS, OneLan, and Chip & PIN devices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and organisational skills under pressure.
- Clear communication with a customer-focused approach.
- Experienced in on-site and remote support.
- IT certifications (ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, Apple) are a plus.
- Full UK driving licence required.
