  • Minimum of Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities:
  • Support teaching staff in delivering effective lessons
  • Work one-to-one or in small groups with students requiring extra help
  • Help manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs or EHCPs
  • Encourage positive attitudes and engagement in lessons
  • Prepare and adapt learning resources as directed
  • Monitor and record pupil's progress and provide feedback to teachers
  • Assist students with homework or study tasks
  • Implement agreed learning activities under guidance
  • Support literacy and numeracy interventions
