- A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Experience supporting students with a range of learning needs, including SEND.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of child development and learning processes.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.

- Good organisational and time-management skills.

- Assisting the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students, focusing on literacy and numeracy.
- Helping to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting students with personal and social development.
- Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEND.
- Monitoring and recording student progress and providing feedback to teachers.
- Managing classroom resources and equipment effectively.
- Supervising students during break times and school trips.
- Contributing to the planning and delivery of extra-curricular activities.
- Liaising with parents/carers, teachers, and external professionals to support student well-being.
