Staff IVS Nurse - Angiography Suit (Bank)Leeds | Angiography | Bank Contract | Ad hoc |Up to £25 per hour depending on skills and experienceWe are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Angiography Nurse to join our Bank Staff in support of our Interventional Suite as we strive to be a true centre of excellence. If you specialise in Angiography and Endovascular Interventions, there has never been a better time to join the team in Leeds. We’re all about great people, recruiting and nurturing talent in a supportive, multidisciplinary setting, where teamwork means everything.As an IVS Staff Nurse you must:Be a UK resident and have right to work permissionBe registered with the NMC and have at least 2-year experience in a busy Angiography labHave competencies in Phlebotomy, Cannulation and Intravenous drug administrationBe BLS/ILS certifiedPossess a vast knowledge in Cardiology, Peripheral Vascular and Neurovascular diseases and their treatmentHave a very good understanding of Radiation protection.You will :Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient’s needsWork directly with some of the best clinical talent around in a close knit team headed by our Head of CardiologyGain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilitiesCollaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient careBe highly motivated and have an excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skillsHave a flexible approach to working pattern is essentialBe compliant with safety standards of the Association for Peri-operative Practice and adherence with the Royal College of Nursing Core Competencies for Imaging Nurses.Helping you feel good.We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued.
