And we're looking for the best people to be part of it.The roleWe are recruiting a new Clients & Markets Manager to help drive the growth of our NHS Health & Care Market Focus Group (MFG). You will work closely with the MFG Head to develop and deliver strategic business plans. Your aim will be to help us: build our profile and reputation in this market; develop our client relationships; and win new business.You will be supported by the wider BD & Marketing department and our external agencies. You will also work with business support functions across the firm including our Knowledge & Information, Transformation, Finance, Risk & Best Practice, HR and IT teams.We will invest in you. We believe in life-long learning and will help you further develop your skills and knowledge through training programmes and access to industry events, research and publications.Main Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing strategic business plans for the NHS Health & Care MFG
  • Creating strategic client plans, advising on client development activity, supporting client review meetings and capturing/responding to client feedback
  • Strategic BD lead for regular MFG meetings, providing advice, ideas, challenge and guidance
  • Working with MFG Heads, Department Heads and our Knowledge & Information Team to identify and respond to market issues and opportunities
  • Developing marketing campaigns to promote our services and win new business
  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships with key intermediaries
  • Working with legal framework owners to ensure we maximise the value of these frameworks and meet our contractual obligations
  • Planning and delivering of an annual programme of events and sponsorships - in-person and online - to raise our profile and create business and networking opportunities
  • Developing client publications and thought leadership content to engage clients and prospects
  • Creating marketing collateral for your MFG to showcase our expertise through brochures, promotional videos, web content, case studies, etc.
  • Producing persuasive proposals/presentations and supporting our Bids Team in responding to formal bids within your MFG
  • Overseeing relevant legal directory and award submissions
  • Utilising our new CRM systems - MS Dynamics and Introhive - to support BD, marketing and client development activity
  • Providing MFG updates through our internal comms channels and regular Board reports
  • Managing the BD budgets for your MFG and tracking ROI from activities
  • Developing your own relationships with key clients, prospects, intermediaries, industry groups, journalists, etc. and using these to support and enhance BD and marketing activities
What we're looking for from you
  • A proven track record of providing excellent BD, marketing communications and client development support within a professional services environment
  • Knowledge and experience of working with/for the NHS would be advantageous
  • Confident team player, able to forge and build effective working relationships
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, results orientated
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to communicate clearly, concisely & credibly
  • Highly commercial - able to understand our clients, the markets in which they operate and the challenges and opportunities they face
  • Very organised, with the ability to multi-task and deliver to deadlines
  • IT literate with experience of using the Microsoft Office suite and other key systems (e.g. CRM, finance, e-marketing, LinkedIn, GenAI tools, webinar platforms, etc.)
  • Degree or equivalent professional work experience
