- Evidence of continuous professional development - OCN/NVQ level 3 or equivalent or willing to achieve this within 12 months.
- Full UK Driving Licence and own transport (the role will involve travelling to a variety of centres across Cornwall).
- Should you be successful in your application, you will be required to provide 3 years worth of references and where applicable, will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
- We are looking for a resilient and committed individual who has an understanding of the problems faced by individuals finding themselves homeless or in insecure accommodation and who enjoys a challenge.
- Experience of working within substance misuse would be beneficial, although we will provide training.
- Demonstrable experience working in the fields of outreach, housing/homelessness health, social care, criminal justice, domestic abuse, or another specialist setting
- Successful track record of working with substance misuse clients
- Resilient and the ability to prioritise and work under pressure
- Knowledge and understanding of health and safety, including assessing high-risk situations for service users
- Knowledge and understanding of homelessness, assessment, care planning and key working
- Ability to build effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders Ability to work effectively as a team player.
- Ability to work flexible and unsocial hours as required
