Role: Freelance Project ManagerLocation: NorthamptonshireProject: HS2 - Utilities Diversion & Infrastructure WorksPosition Type: FreelanceRate: £500-£550 per day (PAYE)Start Date: ASAPMy client is seeking a motivated Freelance Project Manager to lead the delivery of utilities works on HS2. The role will be managing the design and implementation of utility diversions and new installations along the HS2 route.Responsibilities:
  • Lead the successful delivery of utilities packages including water, gas, electricity and telecoms.
  • Coordinate with utility providers, subcontractors and internal staff.
  • Manage programme schedules, budgets and resources
  • Oversee on-site activities ensuring health & safety and quality are at the forefront
  • Lead the team and ensure clear communication between all parties
Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within infrastructure or utilities
  • Strong working knowledge of utility coordination processes
  • Proven experience delivering complex projects
  • Excellent leadership, communication and IT Skills
  • Black CSCS Managers Card, SMSTS and a full UK driving licence required
