Start Date: November 3rd 2025Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a passion for helping children thrive? We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join our inclusive, supportive team and play a key role in empowering pupils to reach their full potential.About the RoleAs a HLTA, you’ll take an active role in teaching and learning across the school. From delivering pre-prepared lessons to leading interventions, you’ll help create a positive and inspiring learning environment where every child can succeed.Key ResponsibilitiesLead whole-class sessions in the teacher’s absenceSupport pupils of all abilities, including those with SEN and EAL needsDeliver small group and 1:1 interventions to boost learning and confidenceWork collaboratively with teachers and support staff to plan and assess learningProvide pastoral support and contribute to positive behaviour managementWhat We’re Looking ForHLTA status (or equivalent qualification)Experience across KS1, KS2, KS3 or KS4 (flexible to your strengths)Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationshipsProactive, flexible, and confident in managing behaviourGenuine passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeingWhat We OfferA welcoming and inclusive school communityOngoing CPD and training opportunitiesSupportive leadership and a collaborative team ethosThe chance to make a real impact every dayFor more information, contact chloe.butcher@protocol-education.com
