- Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned entities, ensuring compliance with Hologic's accounting policies and relevant standards (e.g., US GAAP).
- Conducting in-depth analysis of financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement to support decision-making.
- Playing a key role in maintaining and enhancing the internal control environment.
- Performing control activities, documenting processes, and supporting internal and external SOX audits.
- Assisting with VAT and Intrastat submissions, with training provided by our in-house VAT specialists.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes and reporting for the assigned entities.
- Leveraging advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS) to manipulate, analyse, and present large datasets efficiently for financial reporting.
- Education: AAT Qualification or a degree in Finance/Accounting is highly desirable, with a clear ambition to become fully qualified.
- Excel skills: Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to work with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and large datasets.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work, ensuring accuracy in all financial reporting and analysis.
