To work in partnership with educational staff, health care professionals and other agencies to provide advice and support to children & young people, their parents and carers as required.2. Undertake appropriate training / updates related to public health issues in order to contribute towards meeting local and national Department of Health targets such as immunisations, teenage pregnancy & sexual health, smoking cessation and obesity.3. To carry out training sessions to other professionals on relevant health or medical issues and where appropriate, assist children and young people to manage their own health conditions independently.4. To undertake agreed health assessments on children & young people and ensure referrals, treatments and reviews are carried out as recommended and in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.5. To develop high quality packages of care for children & young people with medical needs, in partnership with other health professionals, education, parents & carers & other agencies as necessary.6.   • Sexual health (or equivalent)
  • School Nurse Certificate

  • Experience of working with children in a professional capacity

  • Proven post nursing registration experience
