- To manage a defined caseload and cluster of primary schools
- Lead on the delivery of Healthy Child Programme.
- Plan, implement and evaluate interventions in response to changing health needs.
- Work in partnership with our key stakeholders.
- Provide confidential support and advice to young people in different venues.
- Facilitate the delivery of health promotion and health education activities in school and community settings.

- RSCN or RN (Child Branch) or Equivalent
- Specialist Community Public Health School Nursing (SCPHN) qualification
- Evidence of Post Registration Training and Development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in an effective way with people from a variety of backgrounds and different ages
- To demonstrate the ability to reflect on clinical practice to enhance professional/personal development
- Ability to prioritise and effectively manage own workload
- Basic Information Technology Skills
- Good organisational Skills
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Application of research/evidence base to good practice
- Experience working with children and families
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of working together in a team
