Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in the Runcorn area to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the school. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a nurturing and inclusive school environment that values both personal and professional development.About the Role:We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join the team at the beginning of the autumn term. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention groups
- Assisting in the delivery of key academic programmes such as phonics and numeracy schemes
- Helping to plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across Early Years and Key Stages 1 and 2
- Supporting children with SEND, adapting your approach to suit individual needs
- Building strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to enhance the learning experience
- A friendly and inclusive school known for its supportive staff and positive relationships with families
- Strong focus on early years development with excellent facilities and teaching resources
- A stimulating outdoor environment including a learning pod, allotment, and woodland area to encourage hands on learning
- Passionate about supporting children's learning and emotional development
- Confident in delivering small group interventions such as phonics and basic maths
- Able to support the planning and facilitation of creative, age-appropriate learning activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
