- Manage client relationships and present project schemes effectively.
- Oversee project programming and address any issues affecting service delivery.
- Act as Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent.
- Appoint and manage the performance of the Professional Team.
- Prepare and deliver initial appraisals and feasibility reports.
- Draft and prepare contract documents.
- Delegate tasks while maintaining overall responsibility for project success.
- Develop and manage budget estimates, cost plans, tendering processes, and contract arrangements.
- Formulate project briefs and fee proposals and present schemes or services.
- Prepare comprehensive tendering documentation.
- Provide recommendations for interim payments, assess anticipated final costs, measure work, adjust variations, and prepare final accounts.
- Chartered status (desirable but not essential).
- Experience in design and build forms, including JCT contracts.
- Knowledge in residential, education, existing buildings, and retrofit projects.
- A RICS Accredited Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and MS Project.
