Children's Services Administrator L1 Job descriptionThe Job ItselfAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Children's Services Administrator (Level 1) to join the Participation, Innovation & Improvement (PII) Business Support Team to cover maternity leave until July 2026. The role offers administrative support to the Quality of Practice team which oversees an extensive range of audit work including the allocating of Reflective Space Activities to practitioners across children's services and administrative work around legal court orders - attention to detail is critical.The Right CandidateIt is desirable that the successful applicant will have the relevant experience of working in a Children's Social Care administrative environment along with extensive knowledge of a range of IT systems including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and service specific packages such as Azeus, as well as, dealing with routine correspondence and facilitate communication across a multi-agency platform, including social workers, team managers and other colleagues from the CYPSSS directorate. This communication is predominately by email however there is an element of incoming and outgoing post to be processed as well as managing service area e-mail inboxes maintaining confidentiality at all times, in compliance with Data Protection requirements and work on own initiative and also as part of a team. You will also provide assistance at functions/events, including recruitment and attending meetings as required.We are a small, friendly team and positive relationships are valued.
