A hands-on couple is sought for a recommended role in the North Cotswolds, residing in a 7,000 sq ft home on an estate that includes 4-5 cottages. The property will be undergoing a big refurbishment over the next 2 years therefore the couple must be confident and experienced in their positions.This is an informal family home where there will be some entertaining during the year but mostly small gatherings for family and friends.The position offers a long-term opportunity for the couple to become valued members of the household. The couple will work to a high standard have longevity, be adaptable, flexible, discreet and fluent in English. One must be happy to cook fresh and healthy meals for the family approx twice a week and both will be child and pet friendly. Ideal if both drive but one confident driver is essential. An enhanced DBS will be required.Also employed is a full time groundsman and nanny twice per week.Duties will include but not be limited to:
Running the household
Exceptional cleaning and home organisation to a high standard
Household inventory and shopping
Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management
Preparing healthy meals occasionally for principals and ideally able to cater for small informal dinner parties (with assistance) when family or friends visit
Vehicle maintenance for a fleet of cars
Driving/chauffeur duties
Gardening, household maintenance
House security
Overseeing and accepting deliveries and supervising tradespeople
Dog care walking/vets/feeding etc
House and pet sitting when the principals are away
Accommodation: Self-contained 2-bedroom cottage. Dependants and pets consideredWorking Monday - Friday, 40 hrs but complete flexibility is essential to work evenings and weekends when required (with time off in lieu).Salary is negotiable from £70k- £80k gross per annum, depending on experience.
