This is a welcoming, multi-generational family home looking for a proactive and experienced pair to support the smooth running of the household.Roles and Responsibilities:Cook/Housekeeper:Prepare daily meals for the family (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)Batch cooking and freezer stockingCater for occasional dinner parties (10–12 guests)Manage kitchen provisioning and pantry organisationAll general housekeeping, cleaningGeneral household support, errands, and a flexible, family-friendly approachHouse Manager/Maintenance/Handyman:Daily running and oversight of the propertyOpen/close house procedures and general upkeepMonitor and coordinate maintenance of appliances, systems, alarms, doors/windowsDealing hands on as much as possible with general maintenance issues (competent handyman/ex builder ideal!)Oversee home securityGrounds and exterior maintenance where needed (working alongside external gardeners)This is a hands-on, live-in role for a couple who enjoy the countryside, take pride in their work, and are happy to work closely with the family in a respectful and collaborative environment. You must be child-friendly and adaptable, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Working Hours:5 days per week, including some weekendsAverage 40 hours per week, with flexibility requiredSalary negotiable according to skills offered from £70k-£80k gross pa.
