You will be part of a wider community team who work with adults within the criminal justice system who have multiple and complex needs across the County of Essex.We are looking for individuals with experience of working within the substance use sector or health care profession to fulfil a range of tasks from case management to care navigation, advocacy and multi-agency working. You will need to be passionate about recovery and working with clients to support, motivate and manage them to access a wide variety of services. You must have good communication skills and an ability to work as part of a team as well as being able to use you own initiative when required and to manage your time independently.Your Rewards
  • Salary of £14,782.20 (£24,637 FTE pro-rata) per annum. The opportunity for potential yearly salary increments subject to appraisal, meaning an increase up to £28,000 (FTE pro-rata)

  • Relevant experience of working in the field of problematic substance use, mental health or another comparable field
  • Evidence of effective partnership working and the ability to network for the benefit of the client and service
  • Evidence of managing a caseload and excellent organisational skills
  • To be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Word and be familiar with relevant database management systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
