This is a rare opportunity to be at the forefront of building a new function from the ground up, really getting stuck into Securitas period of growth and transformation.As our new Programme Director (UK), you will be a strategic yet hands-on leader who can set the foundations, drive delivery, and shape a high-performing PMO that delivers measurable impact. From day one, you will take ownership of major programme initiatives, lead key transformation projects, and establish a robust, future-ready function that supports our most critical business objectives.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesIn this senior leadership role, you will:
- Define and embed PMO best practices, governance, and controls to maximise value and ROI.
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team while working closely with senior stakeholders.
- Balance long-term strategic vision with day-one, hands-on delivery to ensure success.
- Drive consistency, efficiency, and innovation across a UK-wide security transformation.
- Align programme activities with the client's project management framework.
- Oversee efficient and effective project delivery in line with Securitas' strategic objectives.
- Provide strategic transformation guidance to the Global Account Director.
- Lead planning, execution, and successful delivery of the security transformation programme.
- Manage client and project teams, mitigate risks, and report to the Global Programme Director.
- Contribute to the Project Review Board and oversee Dependencies, Assumptions, Risks, Exclusions, Opportunities, and Costs (DAREOC).
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team while fostering strong client relationships.
- Align security solutions with client needs and risk profiles.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring clear communication and strategic alignment.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Deliver data-driven insights through reports and dashboards.
- Assess risks, conduct feasibility studies, and support change management initiatives.
- Drive operational enhancements and promote innovative security solutions.
- Monitor programme effectiveness and champion continuous learning.
- Leadership & People Management - Lead senior client meetings and drive team productivity.
- Planning & Strategy - Manage national-scale programmes and align insights with business goals.
- Analytical & Problem - Solving - Analyse data trends, solve complex problems, and optimise processes.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management - Present insights clearly and manage cross-functional teams.
- Technical & Business Analysis - Proficient in MS Project, Tableau, Power BI; skilled in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, DAREOC.
- Behavioural Skills - Adaptable, detail-oriented, critical thinker with strong time management.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period.

- Proven experience and/or qualifications in program management, ideally within the security sector.
