Qualifications: Part-qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA (or equivalent)Role OverviewRobert Half is partnering with a growing business in Bristol to recruit for a Finance Business Partner to support strategic and operational decision-making through accurate reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial insight across multiple departments.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts for multiple cost centres
- Deliver in-year forecasts, annual budgets, and five-year financial plans
- Produce monthly reporting packs with financial and KPI analysis
- Prepare monthly VAT returns
- Partner with internal teams to support financial control, value-for-money, and compliance
- Support non-financial stakeholders with financial understanding and training
- Collaborate with purchase ledger and cashiering functions for timely payments
- Support audit processes (half-year and year-end)
- Identify and implement improvements in reporting, systems, and processes
- Drive efficiencies and challenge current financial practices
- Experience in management accounting, forecasting, and budgeting
- Strong business partnering skills, particularly with non-finance stakeholders
- Understanding of purchase ledger, cashiering, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Confidence working cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Proactive approach to process improvement and financial insight
- Experience preparing VAT returns and supporting audits
- Familiarity with Microsoft Navision (or similar ERP systems)
- Higher academic background in a numerical subject
