- Design, develop and maintain high-quality, scalable frontend experiences across Raylo’s web and mobile applications using React and React Native.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to define approaches to new features, solve technical challenges, and maintain system integrity.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and marketing teams to iterate on growth initiatives, such as A/B tests and new feature launches that improve the user journey.
- Work in an agile environment, taking ownership of your work from concept through to release and ongoing refinement.
- Help maintain a high-quality codebase through testing, code reviews, refactoring, and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement by contributing ideas for system and process enhancements, particularly in how we optimise for performance and scale.
- Stay current with industry trends and bring fresh perspectives into the team, advocating for modern best practices and scalable solutions.
- 3+ years of frontend or full-stack engineering experience in a product-focused, agile, and fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES7+), with strong familiarity across the JavaScript ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with React and/or React Native for mobile app development.
- Understanding of testing frontend code and ensuring quality through CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas and decisions with non-technical stakeholders.
- Bonus points for experience with server-side rendering (Next.js), GraphQL, or end-to-end mobile development.
