In 2021, Littelfuse had net sales of $2.1 billion.Currently, we are looking for an Electronics Equipment Maintenance Engineer to join Littelfuse Maintenance Electronics Department. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating equipment used in the manufacturing and testing of High-Power Semiconductor devices. You will work hands-on with electronic systems, ensuring equipment operates reliably and safely.
This role is based on-site in Chippenham and reports directly to Maintenance Supervisor Test.About the job:Maintain test equipment to ensure optimal performanceTroubleshoot and diagnose faults down to component level on high voltage, analog, digital, and microprocessor-based electronic systemsRead and understand circuit schematic drawingsUse diagnostic tools regularly, including oscilloscopes and other test equipmentMeasure high voltage and current safely and accuratelyApply a strong understanding of calibration principles in daily tasksDemonstrate basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systemsHave an understanding of Risk AssessmentsWork in full compliance with Health & Safety guidelines and emergency procedures, particularly those outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Management SystemAbout you:Higher Education Certificate in Electronic EngineeringCompleted apprenticeship in an electronic engineering disciplineExperience in fault finding down to component levelAble to deal with changing priorities and use own initiativeStrong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across departmentsCommitted to the continuous improvement & effectiveness of the teamSelf-motivated team player with the ability to work independentlyWilling to work occasional overtime if the need arises on critical equipmentLittelfuse strives to empower associate growth and development in a culture of ongoing collaboration and respect for diverse global perspectives and expertise.
