In this role, you will perform routine and preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on electrical systems and manufacturing equipment.
This role is based on-site in Chippenham and reports directly to Maintenance Supervisor TPM.About the job:Perform routine maintenance on electrical manufacturing systems and equipmentRepair or replace faulty electrical componentsConduct calibrations and preventative maintenance of manufacturing equipmentEnsure compliance with safety standards and regulationsCollaborate with other maintenance team members to address cross-functional issues and assist with fault diagnosis.Potential to work with mechanical systems, including pneumatics and pipeworkWork effectively on projects individually and as part of a teamUnderstand and complete Risk Assessments and adhere to safe working practicesFollow Health & Safety and emergency procedures, particularly those outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Management SystemAbout you:Higher education in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a similar fieldCompleted apprenticeship in an electronic or electrical engineering discipline is a plus1–2 years of experience in electrical equipment maintenanceHave a good general understanding of mechanical engineeringBe able to read circuit schematic diagramsCommitted to continuous improvement and team effectivenessEager to learn, understand equipment in depth, and deliver lasting repairsStrong communication skills with the ability to build effective cross-departmental relationshipsSelf-motivated team player who can also work independentlyWilling to work occasional overtime when needed for critical equipmentLittelfuse strives to empower associate growth and development in a culture of ongoing collaboration and respect for diverse global perspectives and expertise.
