You’ll be working within a thriving company in the construction and facilities management sector.Duties of a Finance Administrative AssistantIn this role, you will play an integral part in supporting the finance team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for:Processing and inputting invoices, expenses, and receiptsManaging the finance inbox and ensuring queries are dealt with efficientlyAssisting with payment processing and liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and employeesSupporting the preparation of weekly payment schedules and upcoming billsAssisting with onboarding new suppliers and employees into finance systemsEnsuring accurate allocation of invoices and expenses to the correct jobs/projectsSupporting payroll processes and ensuring compliance with payment termsMaintaining finance administration tasks, including VAT and CIS setupSkills and experience of a Finance Administrative AssistantTo be successful in this role, you should have:Strong administrative and organisational skillsExperience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (advanced Excel preferred)Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalA proactive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented approachThe ability to prioritise workload effectively and work with accuracyIt would be advantageous if you also had:Experience using Xero and BigChangePrevious exposure to invoice management, credit control, or payroll processesWhat the client offers a Finance Administrative AssistantThis client offers:A competitive salary package (£25,000 – £28,000, dependent on experience)5% pension contributionProfessional development and opportunities for career growthA supportive and collaborative team environmentModern head office facilities in BoltonThe chance to be part of a growing business with long-term career prospectsAbout the ClientOur client is a well-established and expanding company in the construction and facilities management sector.
