- Providing dedicated support to GFI Sales Managers. Working closely with sales managers and developing and implementing a contact strategy and account management plans. Understanding the client opportunity by conducting analysis at the account and portfolio level. Leading client meetings and emails and client follow up where required
- Providing high quality client support to clients by dealing with complex technical queries. Understanding client needs and ensuring that internal teams and resources are aligned to deliver against the client expectations. Working with product specialists and fund managers where required to provide detailed fund information across all regions
- Organising asset Management client events and fund manager meetings for key clients where required, ensuring compelling agendas by understanding the economic environment and client needs. Hosting fund managers and clients in a professional and friendly manner. Identifying opportunities for follow up through engaging with clients and understanding their business needs
- Delivering presentations at external events where required, developing and maintaining strong presentation skills. Building a professional external profile for L&G Asset Management with industry contacts by attending industry events and representing the Asset Management business at client seminars where required
- Acting as a conduit between all areas of the L&G Asset Management business including Fund Managers, Sales Managers, Marketing, Legal and Compliance to ensure the needs of GFI clients are met. Providing detailed account briefings both pre and post fund manager meetings. Ensuring regular internal communications on each Global Institutions coverage progress
- Maintaining a detailed level of knowledge of the L&G Asset Management's fund range and investment philosophy and process, across Unit Trusts, ICAV, SICAV and ETFs and being able to communicate this to clients and internally
- Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of competitors and market trends and how this compares to L&G Asset Management's proposition. Using this knowledge to identify business opportunities and escalate to sales managers as appropriate. Proactively providing feedback on product requirements and ideas to the propositions team so L&G Asset Management remain best in class
- Monitoring the customer experience to ensure that customers are treated fairly in line with L&G's TCF policy and that customer feedback is passed to the relevant areas as well as being aware of the Consumer Duty regulation whilst undertaking own role and supporting the Wholesale Distribution Team as they put customer and client interests at the centre of the business and ensuring the delivery of good customer outcomes
- Ideally the role holder will be degree qualified and have an investment qualification e.g. IMC
- Ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and key relationships and consolidate detailed information into concise summaries
- A high level of understanding of the distribution and Fund Management environment within the Asset Management industry
- Experience of GFI (Global Financial Institutions) Client channel preferred
