
Senior Business Analyst

- Producing the appropriate artefacts required by the project, programme or value stream
- Communicating and reporting effectively within the programme, project or value stream and to the wider BA practice.
- Demonstrating the correct behaviours and acting as a role model for the BA practice.
- Where appropriate, providing coaching to support the growth and development of our BA Practice. This could include responsibilities such as guidance, mentoring, sharing ideas and examples of existing practices and encourage their adoption.
- Where appropriate coordinate the work of other BAs within the programme, value stream or project, delegating and taking ownership of tasks and being accountable for the work produced.
- Where appropriate, ensuring the quality of the work produced by other BAs meets the necessary standards, ensuring deliverables are met within agreed timescales.
- Working effectively with the senior project team and stakeholders, conducting investigations, planning, and be instrumental in the success of the project.
- Take responsibility for the management of stakeholder relationships across various levels of seniority. Ensure that stakeholder perspectives are identified and analysed with a view to achieving consensus.
- Experience in business analysis, including large-scale system and business change programmes.
- Strong analytical skills, with expertise in investigation, modelling, and documentation techniques.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships at varying levels of seniority.
- Excellent communication skills, able to converse with people at all levels within the business, adapting your style to suit the situation
- BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis accreditation (full or actively working towards)
- Experience in a large financial services organisation with knowledge of financial services products
- Experience coaching and/or mentoring junior members
- There may also be a requirement for travel within the UK or to sites external to the UK on an exceptional basis.
