- Develop and manage an overarching social media strategy for Global Relay accounts inclusive of campaigns, always-on social strategy, content, and brand messaging/creative
- Oversee curation of Global Relay social media content calendar
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify social media trends, opportunities, and best practices
- Suggest and implement new features to develop community engagement on Global Relay's social channels
- Lead and develop an influencer program for Global Relay's LinkedIn presence
- Report on social media performance on a quarterly, monthly, and campaign basis to leadership
- Perform research on social benchmark trends and set specific objectives
- Actively investigate and suggest new ways to improve engagement social platforms, specifically LinkedIn
- Educate and engage employees in Global Relay's social media strategy
- Monitor profile comments/posts and escalate with manager and/or legal if needed
- Create and maintain a social media crisis management plan for Global Relay's social accounts
- Proactively create, edit, and schedule engaging content for use daily across various social media channels Global Relay's existing social channels (LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook)
- Manage day-to-day responsibilities of social media coordinator including assigning tasks and providing feedback
- Support and mentor liaising support teams as needed
- Collaborate closely with Brand Design team on visual assets
- Oversee profile of our social media accounts (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, etc.)
- 4-5 years social media marketing experience, preferably for an established brand with an active community
- Experience with performance-driven social campaigns on one or several communication channels
- Strong written and communication skills
- Creative copywriting experience, with a knack for embodying a brand's voice and tone
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and especially LinkedIn
- Experience with social scheduling and monitoring tools
- Meticulous attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
- High level of comfort working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities
- Experience is managing or mentoring teams
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field; or applicable work experience.
