- Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees.
- Typically managing hourly employee populations.
- Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy.
- May include support roles with specialised technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
- Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
- Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework.
- Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgement within established procedures.
- Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.

- Strong analytical skills to identify issues, develop solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure clear and effective interaction with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in lean tools and techniques, such as Kaizen, Standard Work, and Hoshin Kanri, to enhance processes and performance.
- Ability to manage activities, prioritise tasks, and ensure timely delivery of projects and services.
- Deep understanding of safety protocols and the ability to promote a safety-first culture.
- Competence in monitoring and interpreting performance metrics to drive informed decision-making.
- Relevant degree or diploma and/or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in manufacturing, operations,
- Lean Six Sigma certification or similar credentials are highly desirable.
