If so, we have the perfect role for you!As a Childcare Practitioner (ASN), you'll work one-on-one with amazing children and young people, planning and creating a variety of fun and engaging play and social activities tailored to their unique needs and interests.What You'll Do:Activity Planning: Create fun and engaging activities that brighten each child's day.Comprehensive Care: Provide essential support, including moving and handling, personal care, and medication administration.Provide Nutritious Snacks: Support the safe consumption of healthy snacks that cater to dietary and nutritional needs.Memorable Experiences: Develop a program of social activities tailored to each child's individual needs and preferences. The PersonIf you are someone who:
  • Is fun, engaging, adaptable, passionate about working with children and young people
  • Has experience of working with children and young people within a play, care or learning setting
  • Is willing to work towards the SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People) or already holds a suitable qualification
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.As this role requires SSSC registration, the successful applicant will have three months to apply for registration.If appointed, you must start your application as soon as possible so you're registered within the required six months.If you need to achieve a qualification to maintain your SSSC membership, information will be provided if you are appointed.
