This role will have a hybrid work model.ResponsibilitiesLiaise with business partners, project, and program stakeholders to analyze and refine the regulatory requirements provided by Federal authorities and DTCCPrepare detailed BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) and FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents) for various technology teamsTranslate and simplify the business/functional requirements into technical requirements and create user stories for the development team to understand and implement in codePerform gap and feasibility analyses, recommend alternative solutions, project strategies, and deliverable prioritizationsPrepare detailed use cases, functional scenarios, and specifications by exampleWork closely with developers and operations teams to answer all questions and queries regarding the regulatory requirementsIdentify gaps in the software system from a regulatory perspective and raise requirements with product ownersProvide support to the product owner team to guide the tech impact, story pointing, prioritization, and planning of all requirementsWork closely with the QA team to support BDD and functional testing as required; review feature files with developers written as part of dev acceptance testing, ensuring they cover functional acceptance criteria and edge casesProvide support to the UAT team for end-to-end testing by providing sample test cases, use cases, and actual vs. expected behaviorRequirements5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a regulatory reporting or financial services domainKnowledge of global regulatory reporting frameworks including DTCC and Federal agency requirementsSkills in creating detailed BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and gap analysisExpertise in business analysis techniques such as feasibility studies, use case creation, and scenario planningProficiency in agile methodologies and tools used in backlog managementFamiliarity with BDD principles and QA processes, including writing or reviewing feature filesCapability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, and QAUnderstanding of SQL, Excel, and database querying to analyze data quality and reporting requirementsNice to haveBackground in Derivatives Trade Reporting or Transaction Reporting within capital marketsShowcase of experience with tools like JIRA or ConfluenceFamiliarity with ISO 20022 message standardsWe offer/Benefits
