
Payroll Executive (Hybrid)

- Manage and process payroll for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure timely submission of payroll data to HMRC and other relevant bodies.
- Respond to client queries regarding payroll and provide professional guidance.
- Prepare and distribute payslips, P45s, and other payroll documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date records and ensure data confidentiality and security.
- Support the reconciliation of payroll reports with accounting records.
- Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes and systems.
- Stay informed about changes in payroll legislation and advise clients accordingly.
- Experience in managing payroll processes, end to end ownership
- Proficiency in payroll software and strong IT skills, including Excel.
- A solid understanding of PAYE, NI, pensions, and other payroll-related legislation.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- An analytical mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Happy to commute to Reading (potentially more office based within the probation period for training and development purposes)
