A leading name in the Facilities Management sector is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Shift Engineer to join the on-site team at a prestigious large corporate site. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation of all electrical services across a high-profile environment where reliability, compliance, and professionalism are paramount.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive tasks across electrical systems.
- Undertake fault finding, repairs, and testing of LV distribution, switchgear, and critical electrical assets.
- Maintain UPS systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and BMS monitoring.
- Support statutory compliance testing, record keeping, and completion of shift handover logs.
- Respond swiftly to breakdowns and ensure minimal disruption to business-critical operations.
- Work closely with colleagues and clients, maintaining excellent communication and customer service standards.
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installations.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial or corporate FM environment.
- Ability to work independently on shifts, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
