Shift Engineer

• Day Shift: 7am - 7pm (1-hour unpaid break)

• Night Shift: 7pm - 7am (1-hour unpaid break)

• You will be part of a dedicated engineering team working on a 4 on/4 off shift pattern covering both days and nights.

• The team is responsible for ensuring critical building systems remain operational while providing excellent support to the client.

• This is a high-profile building, meaning stakeholder interaction is frequent and professional presentation is essential.

• Hands-on delivery of PPMs and reactive maintenance tasks.

• Support with day-to-day operations of M&E systems within the building.

• Responding promptly to issues and resolving them with minimal disruption.

• Ensuring compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements.

• Liaising with both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction.

• Supporting project-related work, particularly during weekends.

• Stakeholder Interaction: High - both internal and external, client-facing role.

• Location: Fully site-based in Moorgate. No travel outside of the London site required.

• Potential for the role to be extended or become permanent.

• Opportunity to work on a flagship site for a key client.

• Prime central location, walking distance from Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations.

• Exposure to both day-to-day operations and project-based weekend work, building diverse experience.

• Proven experience in a shift engineering or building services role.

• Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems and hands-on maintenance.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently in a client-facing environment.

• Flexible and adaptable, able to work both days and nights on a rotating basis.

• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
