Full-time | PermanentAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sub Agent / Site Agent to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering high-profile infrastructure projects across Scotland, with a primary focus in Central and West Coast regions.The RoleWorking within an established civils team, the Sub Agent / Site Agent will oversee the safe and efficient delivery of infrastructure projects, including RC structures, bridges, earthworks, drainage, and roadworks. This is a key site-based leadership role with responsibility for managing teams, subcontractors, programme performance, and technical compliance, reporting directly to the Project Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesLead on-site delivery of infrastructure projects to time, quality, and safety standardsManage site teams, subcontractors, and internal interfaces across disciplinesImplement H&S, quality, and engineering processes throughout project lifecycleOwn and manage project programmes, risk registers, and commercial input (CVRs)Liaise with stakeholders, attend pre-start meetings, and maintain project reportingPrepare key site documents (RAMS, permits, WPPs, etc.)Support procurement, logistics, and resource planningIdeal CandidateCivil engineering degree or HNC/HND qualifiedStrong civils experience across multi-disciplinary projects up to £10mKnowledge of NEC contracts, CDM regulations, and project cost controlValid CSCS Manager card and SMSTS (or willingness to obtain)TWC/TWS awareness or competency desirableProficient with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is a plusWillingness to travel, with flexibility for night or weekend shifts when requiredFull UK driving licenceWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary plus car or allowanceCompany pension & healthcare supportFlexible/agile working policyTwo paid volunteering days per yearOngoing training and career development opportunities in a growing businessAbout the EmployerThis is a reputable, privately-owned civil engineering contractor known for its commitment to safety, sustainability, and employee development.
