About the roleAre you ready to make a real difference with your financial expertise? Plymouth Community Homes (PCH) is looking for a talented Management Accountant to play a key role in shaping how we manage and report on our finances. You'll provide clear, accurate and insightful financial information that helps managers across the association make confident, informed decisions - supporting us to achieve our wider goals.In this role, you'll not only ensure the smooth delivery of accurate and timely financial reports, but you'll also:Have an eye for detail and able to use large volumes of data.Step up with confidence by deputising for senior accountants when required.Drive improvement, helping to develop smarter systems, reporting methods and controls that strengthen our financial management.We're looking for someone who brings:Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills to turn data into actionable insight.A track record of financial management with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy.The confidence to challenge and support budget holders, adding real value.Experience of capital accounting or housing development (desirable, but not essential).At PCH, you'll have the chance to use your expertise to make a genuine impact - not just on numbers, but on the services and communities we support.About Plymouth Community HomesWe are the city's largest social housing association, with over 16,000 properties providing homes for more than 35,000 people, and we're aiming to grow, to provide more people with high-quality, affordable homes to rent and buy.With a great workforce and a focus on people, we deliver good quality, well-managed and well-maintained homes.What we can offer you
