Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a special educational needs (SEN) school in Southampton. This is a term-time only position with flexible working hours, making it ideal for individuals seeking a better work-life balance.About the Role:As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities.Working 1:1 or in small groups to deliver tailored learning support.Assisting with behaviour management and promoting emotional well-being.Collaborating with teaching staff, therapists, and other professionals to implement education plans.Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.What is an SEN School?SEN schools are specialist settings that cater to children and young people with additional learning needs. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
