Salary: £86 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about child development and contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom culture.Role Overview:As a Primary TA, you will support the class teacher and pupils across the primary curriculum, helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning space where every child can succeed.Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of lessons and classroom activities.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
  • Support the teacher with classroom management and the preparation of resources.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Promote positive behaviour and sustained engagement through consistent praise and clear routines.
Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant:
  • Experience working in a primary school setting is desirable.
  • A warm, patient, and proactive approach to working with children.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
  • Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the last 10 years.
