In this role of Primary TA, you will provide essential support to both pupils and teachers, helping create a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment.Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:
  • Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
  • Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and behaviour management.
  • Help foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress.
Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant:
  • Experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
  • Patience, resilience, and a supportive attitude.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
